The rooms, while basic, remained clean and comfortable with the necessary amenities, including air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The hotel’s proximity to the beach invites serene morning strolls, although the ocean isn't suitable for swimming. The outdoor swimming pool at the nearby Amigo Hotel provided a refreshing escape, albeit small. The staff were helpful and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk to the town's center, ensuring easy access to local attractions. For those seeking a budget-friendly option without compromising entirely on comfort, El Icaco presents a commendable choice. It's prudent for travellers focused on value, reminding us that luxury doesn’t always dictate a price.
